Truly Natural, Sensorial Beauty
New day, new vegan/cruelty free beauty brand you guys!
Herbivore Botanicals seem to be popping up everywhere, from body oils to rose quartz rollers (has anyone tried these things?) & bath salts, their products are certainly Instagram worthy (have you seen their gram btw major feed goals)
Ok so the products look gorgeous but I wanted to find out if they really were the real deal so I’ve had some serious pamper time this last week & tried & tested 3 of their popular products from the range. The things I do for you guys…
First let’s discuss what I picked.
- Pink Clay Mask – I apply face masks at least twice a week & always looking to add to the collection
- Coco Rose Scrub – You guys know I’m obsessed with scrubs & rose scented products so win-win
- Jasmine Oil – BECAUSE HELLO OIL!!
& here are some reasons why I have fallen in love with the brand & products;
- They are vegan & 100 % cruelty free
- Natural ingredients only
- Recyclable & reusable package (which is also really cute btw)
- GMO free soy wax
- Cold pressed oils only
- Super luxurious products –
- – which do not cost an absolute fortune
Here are my thoughts…
Herbivore Botanicals Pink Clay Mask Review
Ok, product number 1 the pink clay mask. Pink clay masks are trending big time right now & now I know why –
LITERALLY THE GLOWIEST GLOW OF MY LIFE.
No exaggerations. This pink clay mask is one of my new all time favourite vegan face masks. It comes in a powder & you just mix some in a bowl (I used 1 tbsp. of powder & 1/2 tbsp. of water) before applying. I found it a little tingly but not uncomfortable (unlike the aztec Indian clay masks that stuff burns like ****) however Herbivore Botanicals do recommend you try a small test patch if you have sensitive skin. I washed my face after around 20 mins & the difference & glow in my skin was instant!
Main Ingredients – French Pink Clay, Rosehip & Chamomile Flowers
Use For – Exfoliating & freshening dull & tired skin
Live up to the hype? 100 %
Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Body Polish Review
Product number 2 is this delicious Coco Rose body scrub. This sugar based scrub is packed with goodness & smells amazing. I love how tiny the sugar granules are, they are the perfect size for a gentle exfoliation that doesn’t leave your skin all red & irritated. I’ve used this body polish in both the bath & shower & I can still smell it on my skin the next morning. I literally smelled like I’d bathed in coconut oil & rose petals all day.
Main Ingredients – Virgin Coconut Oil, Moroccan Rose, Shea Butter, Pink Clay & Sugar
Use For – Moisturising, exfoliating & hydrating skin
Live up to the hype? Yup
Herbivore Botanicals Jasmine Body Oil Review
Obviously product numbero 3 was going to be an oil because I am a walking oily human, I apply oil to my skin at least 3 times a day. This oil is so luxurious & juicy it is unreal. It smells so sexy & literally melts into my skin. Best part is that you only need the teeniest of amounts too. I had to pick, I would say this is my fav product out of the 3. & although I have yet to try, I am sure this stuff will work wonders on my hair!!
Main Ingredients – Camellia Flower Oil, Grapeseed Oil & Jasmine Sambac Oil
Use For – Mosturizing & hydrating dry skin
Live up to the hype? Yes – 1 million times yes
To check out their other products head over to their website (I need to try that green tea toner next!) You can also order from Revolve & Life n One in Dubai stock some of their products too.
I am totally sold on these products, I would go as far as saying the best vegan bath & body products I have tried. They are really luxurious & I’ve been stepping out my showers with that ‘just-finished-an-8-hour-pamper-session-at-the-spa’ feel. Plus I love how you only need tiny amounts so they will last for ages. Ace value for money.
Have you tried any of their products? It’s a study week for me, exam on Thursday so have a good week! Jess x
