Feeling Under The Weather?
Good Morning and happy Tuesday, we are half way through the week here in the UAE! I spent the whole of last week working on the new lay out for my blog, as you can probably imagine starting into a screen all day and night wasn’t great. I got so wrapped up in trying to complete everything I fell out of my routine a bit of prepping my meals and hitting the gym, and ended up feeling a bit run down and tired.
Anyway, at the weekend I peeled myself away from my laptop and visited a local fruit and veg market here in Abu Dhabi. All the products they sell are organic and de-e-elicious. I found a number of great products too which I will share with you soon, so we ended up leaving with a massive box packed with fruit and veg (and had an amazing veggie roast dinner that night).
As usual the weekend was over far too quickly, and when Sunday morning came around I had a headache and still felt a bit lethargic. I decided to use some of my fresh, organic fruits to create my easy Vitamin C smoothie to boost my immune system and perk me up a bit.
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 1 kiwi
- 1 large orange
- 1/2 cup raspberries (frozen or fresh)
