Because who doesn’t love peaches!? I certainly do, and this smoothie is a fantastic way to incorporate them into your diet. This is a great low fat, breakfast smoothie, very easy and quick to make first thing.

As is the smell and taste aren’t good enough reasons to fall head over heels in love with peaches, here are 3 more reasons;

Vitamin C
Peaches are a good source of Vitamin C which keeps your immune system in check, making this a great smoothie if you are feeling under the weather or a cold coming on. It is SO good for your skin too, with a number of studies revealing that people with a high Vitamin C intake generally have less wrinkles and look younger… pass me a peach! This super vitamin also reduces hormones which help reduce stress.

They keep you full
Peaches are high in fibre, so if you have this smoothie for breakfast, you should manage to avoid any mid-morning snacks until lunch too. The sweetness of the peaches definitely curbs any cravings I have.

Very important mineral
Last but certainly not least, these fluffy fruits are high in potassium, which will lower the risk of high blood pressure, stroke, and heart disease.

Hopefully you now want to try this smoothie, so here you go…

Ingredients

  2. 1 cup of almond milk
  3. 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  4. 1/3 cup of oats

Blend all of the above and serve, you can add ice too if you are feeling the heat. Switching dairy milk for my beloved almond milk gives you a low calorie smoothie with absolutely no saturated fat and the fibre in the oats definitely helps with weight loss.

I am enjoying mine now whilst writing this post, why don’t you try one? Have a nice day!
