Creamy Avocado & Kiwi Energy Smoothie

Need a quick pick me up? Yesterday I created this energy boosting green smoothie for my breakfast. This thick, vitamin packed smoothie will keep you fuller for longer, making it a great meal replacement if you are trying to lose weight. The avocado gives the smoothie a delicious, creamy texture and I think it is now one of my favorite smoothie recipes!

  1. 1 avocado, peeled and chopped
  2. 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
  3. 1 cup of chopped spinach
  4. 1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
  5. 1 ½ cup of almond milk (unsweetened)

Why the parsley? Parsley contains Chlorophyll. This is the molecule in plants which creates the photosynthesis process by providing energy, making it a great energy supplement for humans. Avocados, kiwis and spinach are known for providing instant energy boosts making this the perfect smoothie for when you need a little help in the morning, this works especially well for me since giving up coffee.
