Delicious, Crunchy, Garlic Greens
I want to share this quick and easy garlic roasted broccoli recipe with you tonight. It only takes 20 minutes to cook and you only need 3 ingredients. I absolutely love broccoli, it’s one of my favorite vegetables, and I didn’t realize there are so many ways you can enjoy it. Did you know you can get a massive 11g of protein per 100 calories in this green super food? That sounds like a good ratio to me!
- 1 tbsp. of coconut oil
- 1 glove of garlic
- Pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees
- Peel and mince the garlic
- In a bowl, mix the coconut oil and garlic
- Cover your broccoli in the garlic oil and roast in the oven for 20 minutes
This vitamin packed recipe is a great side dish or a snack. I had a big bowl of this garlic broccoli the other afternoon straight after my gym session for a protein boost. As most of my recipes, you will see I have once again used coconut oil, this is a much healthier way to roast and cook your veggies. I have recently bought a brand of coconut oil which I have fallen in love with and will post a review soon! Broccoli is a great vegetable to include in your diet, especially if you are trying to lose weight. Extremely low in fat and calories and high in protein, what’s not to like?
